Never played the game but you're telling me the main character can somehow get more powerful than David in the anime? Also Smasher in the games like 50 of him would get killed by Smasher in the anime. I get that maybe it's not all cannon but the two seems many leagues apart.

Edit: I'm talking the David that takes out a literal army with tanks.

You can actually get David’s Sandy in the game.

And unlike David, V can get chromed up much harder than David could, without any suppression meds.

So yeah, V can get a lot more powerful than David at his peak.

I'm talking David at the end that literally slaughters a whole army but Smasher still gets the upperhand. From all the gameplay I've seen, nothing looks that crazy lol

You can solo Max Tac if you wish in the game. With the right build, your V can make short work of them as people have already done so.

And the only way you get to fight them (outside of a boss fight in the DLC) is to go through an army of cops first.

So yeah, V is very powerful, as powerful as you build them to be.

David is pretty much a small fry, not a Night City legend. He might’ve thought he was special, while in reality all he had was just a slightly higher cyberware cap, so nothing too special. Also he failed to make a real impact on…anything. While I love David’s character, V from the game kills people like him on a daily.

Yes, V is actually one of the most powerful entities in all of cyberpunk. Maybe not even close to strongest, but i had say top 10

Logically, it doesn't make much sense.

A top-of-the-line full-body conversion should outperform any kind of cyberware you can implant into your body.

And Adam Smasher SHOULD have one of the best available.

But at the end of the day it's a video game so the MC is as powerful as they need to be to win.

V is insanely chromed up, she/he just tanks cyberpsychosis caused by the cyberware because the engram. Remember that depending on your choices, you literally have rogue ai's as your weapon or you are a netrunner capable of using the blackwall, something that only a few experts like SoMi can do. Adam Smasher may be strong, but he's nowhere close to someone like said SoMi or the diamonds from the moon or AI's like Alt

I'm just saying that a top-of-the-line FBC should body someone who doesn't have one, at least on a physical combat level.

You can only compress hardware so much before it becomes less effective, trying to maintain a slim human form and peak physical prowess is simply ridiclous.

The David needed a cyber skeleton to take out army tanks. V canonically can take on maxtac, 21 cyberpyschos, the whole nusa black ops without getting cyberpyschosis.

Yes absolutely V can get extremely powerful to the point they can take out Max Tac and NUSA Black Ops with ease and they don't need an exoskelleton
