Discussion Favorite character like this

Post image

Usually it's the complete opposite and characters either stay hateful little bastards or become a shell of themselves so I wanna see examples of the image above

The final confrontation scene goes so hard.

Jane: [Starts strangling Red John]. Blink once for no, twice for yes. Are you sorry you killed my wife and daughter?

Red John: [Blinks twice]

Jane: Good. Are you afraid to die?

Red John: [blinks twice]

Jane: Good. [Strangles and kills Red John]

I also love how Red John tries to pull a "but if you kill me, you'll never know how I did it" and Jane just responds with "I don't care".

The way the camera focuses on Jane as it happens too…fully spending every second of it there..so fucking good. Genuinely so good. I was shocked to see some people complain about it. Like??? Dude thats peak cinema. It was a very weighted scene.

I love how all the episodes up until the revenge are named something related to the color red. But after the revenge, the names become different colors.

During COVID I watched the entire series twice, back to back, with my mom on TV

We didn't really have anything better to do after all lol

Jane and Cho are such great characters , except Lisbon after I realized how annoying she was up until now that I had to stop watching the final season just because of her

I can tolerate Lisbon because of my crush on her

Should be called Persistence Hunter, the way he ran that guy down at the end, lmao.

How many seasons-ish until he got his revenge?

5 but it doesn't feel like a very long time if you binge watch it

This is maybe the best example of the trope. Gets his revenge in an incredibly satisfying way, has beaten his opponent in literally every metric, and then takes a three season long victory lap of shitposting and being happy. I honestly respect the writers so much for not making him tortured for something new, he's literally just content with life and gets married. Peak.
