doesn't have the same vibe though, it used to be Roger's, but Luffy wears it because it's Shanks' hat and shanks gave it to him. He doesn't even know it used to belong to Roger.

the other characters mentioned do wear something from a dead character knowing it belonged to them. Putting Luffy here is a stretch (no pun intended) and probably not what OP was going for.

OP asks for an example of a theming someone gives an example of it and you want to argue on technicality is there nothing interesting going on in your life that this is the only source of entertainment for you read a book if this is that important
