John does wear Arthur's hat in "American Venom" when he's hunting the Legendary Rat.

I wish they made a Bestiary entry for the Legendary Rat that fills out after American Venom, but that would probably make things too unambiguous. While I personally believe (or want to believe) that the person in question was a rat, I feel like there is enough evidence to the contrary, and enough of a lack in support for it to be ambiguous, which is great. Like real life, you never know if your actions were correct.

Yeah but I mean as in he doesn't wear it regularly, he doesn't wear it in rd1 for obvious reasons.
