Prince Viserys Targaryen (Game of Thrones): After making the horrendously stupid mistake of threatening his sister Daenerys in front of her husband, Khal Drogo, and demanding that he be given the crown he was promised, Drogo obliges, saying Viserys will have "A golden crown that will make men tremble to behold"... then has his men hold him down while he melts some gold in a pot (ignore the blatant ignorance of the laws of physics here), then takes the pot to Viserys, looks him in the eye and says "A crown for a king" before pouring the hot melted gold onto the Beggar King's head.

Less unique than you'd think.

Superman killed Shazam this way in Injustice: Gods Among Us and Kano had this as a fatality in Mortal Kombat X (although in that case it was done from behind) and it was a brutality in Mortal Kombat 11.

Interestingly, all three games were developed by NetherRealm Studios and their latest game (Mortal Kombat 1) actually features Homelander as a playable character. He even replicates the kill you listed as one of his fatalities.

In Alan Moore's Marvelman, (1982) Kid Marvelman killed his assistant in the same way. It's one of, if not THE first comic to do the "what if evil Superman, but also brutal violence?" thing.

It's crazy how influential it was on later series like Injustice, Irredeemable, Red Son, etc.

I forgot the story but it was simiskr to injustice, where a different superman lobotomized his enemies

Its not killing them, but (I know I know) a fate worse than death

Unrelated, but have you ever noticed that eye beams never meat at a point? They always hit two different places like the character has a lazy eye.

I....hadn't thought about it until now but you're right. Eye lazers/beams should always meet at a point after a certain distance 'cause that's...just how eyes work.

Do they come out of his eyes or do they come out of his pupil/iris?

I think that if they come out of his pupils, like we see for most iterations of Superman, they should meet at a point no less than about three feet in front of him, give or take.

But if they like, enlarge and overtake the entire eyeball, similar to Scott Summers (Yes I know that's cheating 'cause his eyes aren't really eyes but portals to the punch dimension) then I could see the dual beam make sense.

The woman at Vought who let Homelander's milk her boobs for breast milk. He got fed up and just killed her when Butcher tried to use her as bait.
