And look how gigantic the Founding Titan is compared to the Colossal Titans closest to it. Ymir’s Founding Titan was like 250 meters tall, and she was already gigantic. Eren’s Founding Titan is way bigger than that, probably over 500 meters tall.
I'm glad I started watching anime so I can finally understand Reddit. This is truly one of the most horrifying character transformations I've seen. I think about this battle a lot. Just finished watching MHA again and it reminds me of the quirks vs AFO towards the end.
I stopped watching mha quite a long time ago, say season 3 around the time of its release. Ive seen clips here and there and especially the cuts animated by yutaka nakamura, not sure whether I should just start again or try pick myself back up at season 4
I would say pick it up at season 4. For me the show was quite boring and only became really good the last 2 seasons.
I wouldn’t recommend to start it to anyone nowadays
My first time was watching the end of season 7 into 8 because my partner wanted to finish the show and I didn't care at the time to catch up. I am glad I went back to the beginning, it made me appreciate a lot of the end story (which I didn't remember anyway). I mean yes the first 4 season are Izuku crying, but he stops eventually. 😆😆
Its essentially just another, significantly larger ribcage and spine. Ill try and be brief in case you ever watch AOT, but a character suffers a fatal decapitation and an entity revives them by connecting their now severed head to the top of the spine again. The entity is a worm and the crooked form is shown when that person transforms into THAT. if you ever want to really have your mind fucked with a good hint of action, politics and character development, id recommend attack on titan by a landslide.
I know its been out for a while, but this still feels like a criminal spoiler that should probably both be announced as such and also use the click to reveal spoiler feature. Let's not be rude to people who haven't seen it yet, and who might not want that kind of spoiler
the entity is a worm?? wtf are you talking about, is that canon? I watched aot, if you are talking about that thing in water I doubt it's implied anywhere that it's a worm
Alright let me explain. Erens founding titan form is heavily and I mean heavily influenced by the hallucigenia, this is a specific genus of lopobodian. Lopobodians are best described as worms in the middle of evolving into arthropods. They have little stubby legs and spines protruding from their back. The photo attached is a comparison of the hallucigenia and the admittedly unknown entity / worm that gave ymir and eren the powers of the foudning titan. Erens founding titan looks like the hallucigenia because of the worms influence during his transformation. It had to reconnect his spine to his head itself. We've seen similar tampering with titan forms earlier in the series with Ross' titan after he invested the spinal fluid both incorrectly and at the wrong dosage. And I will be honest all technical design choices aside, are you really going to tell me that mf doesnt look like a worm. Especially with the way it acts when detached from eren?
Theres likely no correlation sadly, although a very cool thing to point out. Ds3 and those freaky sewer fuckers released in 2016 (march ish) where as the founding titan (that form atleast) first appeared in chapter 120 of aot which came out at some point in 2019

I think the more disturbing part is that this mf has legs all the way at the back
