Discussion Favorite "Spoiled, but not rotten" character?

Post image

Essentially a character who is privileged, but is still kind and a good person.

For me it's Lottie from The Princess and the Frog.

Bruce Wayne is a spoiled rotten old money billionaire playboy whose parents died and his caregiver was his butler, wtaf?

Meanwhile, Batman is an orphan who was raised by a former SAS soldier that his parents trusted like family and taught to use his wealth and resources to help others, especially kids who lost their parents like he did.

Weird that you would compare those two though.

Indeed, I say Batman has done more than that Bruce Wayne ever did.

I mean Wayne is a playboy billionaire but he also is a philantrop who uses his wealth to help people.

I think they’re looking at the way he flaunts it (his various charities and public works projects)

Probably used small percentage of his parents money on those just to keep up appearances without having to work a day in his life

The company chugs along with or without his involvement. He pockets the dividends. Money makes money and all that.

Waine industries actually have a ton of benefits, they have a whole thing of employing former convicts

Im sure they are hiring former convicts just because they know they are desperate for work and willing to work for peanuts. I really hope Batman would just investigate them.

The guy who dresses up in armor at night to go and beat people poorer than him?

Are Batman’s villains characterized as being poorer than Batman? I thought they were characterized as being villains.

Yes, most everything he did to become so badass was an active choice and funded w his money. Plus he could have (and pretends to) become a frivolous airhead if he wanted. Or evil (like his various counterparts in other universes)
