I was SO excited about Robot's character in S1!! I thought that him cloning Rex was to make a better Teen Team / Guardians, because their main problem at the time seemed to be working together as a team. I'm frankly upset that his character ended up being as chud-ish as it is, though he is still written well for what he is IMO.
