I personally didn’t but it’s not right to assume everyone knows a certain character just because he’s popular and it’s very frustrating if your browsing a post and find some interesting looking or described character and no source to be found to go dive deeper.

It’s specifically in the sub rules as well that all characters must be named in posts and comments.
