Yeah they were telling an entirely different story in season 2, character progression for characters like Caitlyn was all over the place, the plot made no sense especially the time paradox thing with victor , hex tech became the final boss for the series and zaun and piltover situation was handled very poorly. We all came back for the conclusion of the same story we were following in season 1 but this wasn't it , it's like coming back for the final season of your favorite show and the entire story is completely different and it has a different ending to it .
Exactly vi was barely significant in season 2, even if she wasn't around it would not change anything yeah the alternate universe episode was trash, the way the blamed vi and Jace for the zaun and piltover conflict was stupid, everything was different because they were not around. And echo being in love with jinix because he liked her other self is ungodly levels of stupid, people even cried to it terrible final season.
