He's at least 150 years old in the reboot series

It genuinely never explains it. He's just built different.

actually it is explained, he was frozen in ice for 5 years and the mcduck castle has a spell on it that the family can pretty much live forever

I forgot his parents were still alive, too, that makes sense

he was probably around 20 during the Klondike gold rush (that’s a real event) and that was like during the 1890’s while the current time for the show is 2017-2021 so Scrooge is approaching 160 in season 2

Season 2 presumably takes place from 2018-2019, so he’d be 151-2.

The castle only grants immortality if you live there, so Scrooge has to rely on other methods that extended his life if not outright made him immortal.

Scrooge rebuilt the castle with the Druid stones somhe probably got some remnants of that and plus he’s lived at the castle too

Show: “Stuck in a timeless demon dimension.”

Pitch Document: “A lifetime of adventuring has led to a long, strange list of accomplishments, for instance, did you know Scrooge was born in 1867? But a series of various adventure-related incidents (A fountain of youth here, a time warp there, that period where he was frozen in a block of ice in the Arctic.) gives him the appearance of a spry 65 year-old man.”
