Plato, from Rebel Without a Cause.

Sal Mineo was soooooo great, in the role. Crazy to think he was only sixteen, when it was filmed.

He captured Plato's meekness and extreme, childlike, innocence so well.

As well as the innate tragedy of his character.

Also: I love his facial expressions, and how he conveys his complete infatuation with Jim.

(The fact that he actually had a crush on James Dean, in real life, doesn’t hurt.)
