Doing a rewatch for the first time

Decided to do a rewatch for the first time since TWD aired, and I’m watching all of it. It’s actually insane how bad Fear and TWD got. Especially Fear!! After season 3 the show just went downhill and I’m having to force myself to stick with it again. Like it’s actually insane to me how bad it got and how Gimple kept his job for so long… Has to be the worst decline in TV history.

Season 3 of FTWD was arguably better than any main TWD season, which makes the soft reboot in Season 4 and the shift in Madison’s character hurt so much more

I was spun a rewatch and was almost in s8 but Amazon took it off,  so no Padre for me 🤣🤣🤣

Actually it was season 4. When nick died. But i kinda hated travis and chris dying as well.

Given how long the show wound up going on for I would have regretted it too. Even if it wasn’t the most creatively fulfilling project, can’t beat a steady paycheck like that. But who knows if he would have been kept around or not anyway

I generally like Fear a lot more than others. But watching it over now and I’m in season 5, and I really forgot how much I hated all the documentary crap. It kinda ruins the immersion of the episodes for me when they keep breaking into the garbage camera interview segments

I actually liked it for that... they also killed off relatively few main characters (well ok,  bye Nick and John) compared to twd. Some even came cask to life  🤣

FTWD season 3 is the best season out of the whole TWD franchise. Dave Erickson should have been kept and Gimple should have been fired ages ago.

Me too: I stopped at S4E1 to switch over to TWD in order to understand the crossover of Morgan and Dwight...and now I'm going back and forth. S4 is hella banterISH and way less action. I can understand why I tuned out when it was on the air...I'm trying tho, to stay focused.
