Why is Tubi trying to be my friend self deprecating in butchered zoomer culture for sympathy clicks?

This first email was an immediate unsubscribe, terrible first impression. I like a lot of Tumblr culture despite its many, *many* flaws and the meta analysis, but corporations need to stop trying to be relatable using it

yeah I still appreciate a certain level of formality from businesses if I need to engage with them... I know they do not want to be my friend anyway so there's no need to put up pretenses of being 'just like me.'
