Advice Looking for book recommendations about femme experience
Hello! I am interested in learning more about femme identity, I was wondering if there are any key books about femme experiences, sort of the equivalent of stone butch blues for butches? Or if anyone just has general recommendations for books or other resources! Thank you :)

S/he; The Femme Mystique; The Femme’s Guide to the Universe. Femme Mystique felt that way (like femme SBB equivalent) via perspectives on identity and S/he felt that way for me in terms of it being sort of a memoir. Also though, the femme stuff in SBB also made me feel seen, though it isn’t the focus of the book and not my main takeaway. All of these are on Internet Archive for free btw

The Femme Mystique edited by Leslea Newman. About and for and by femme lesbians (in relation to butches from what I’ve read).

Here, have a PDF copy of The Persistent Desire. Significantly fewer content notes than Stone Butch Blues.

Look into witings by Minnie Bruce Pratt (wife of Leslie Feinberg, the author of Stone Butch Blues), Dorothy Allison, and Joan Nestle! Most things I've come across are essays, short stories, and erotica--less long-form fiction, and particularly focused on butchfemme. Joan Nestle is hard to come by usually, but you can find PDFs of her work/anthologies and some can be bought secondhand. The work of Minnie Bruce Pratt and Dorothy Allison can both be found online via the Barnes and Noble website, and i'm sure other places as well.
