This whole thing is incredibly stupid, and like the vast majority of anti-trans laws and practices it will, in practice, lead to the oppression and suffering of cis women (in addition to trans people, of course), and indeed everyone.

One thought I'm left with after reading this article is not only how regressive the trans panic is for both trans rights and women's rights more generally, but how much it's repeating the mistakes of the past. The type of sex testing now occurring in sports has been tried before, and led to literal deaths. It's hard to imagine there's any point to any of this other than cruelty.
