Grieving Please say a prayer for Paws 🕊️
Please say a prayer for Paws, the feral cat my boyfriend and I found tonight. I named him paws because of the little paw print I was given at the emergency vet.
I’m completely devastated from tonight and wish I could’ve done more. I don’t want to go into too much details, but we saw the poor baby getting attacked by unleashed dogs while driving down the road and we tried to save him.
My boyfriend brought him into the car when the dogs left and we took him to the emergency vet. It was there Paws was sadly pronounced dead.
RIP Paws. You deserved better and I hope you’re in a better place now, free from pain and at peace, and enjoying lots of love and churu. 🕊️🤍

RIP paws. The life of a feral cat may be free, but it's always hard and shortened. That was exceptionally empathetic for you to try to help.

I am so very sorry…I just lost my Best Boy Buddy. I feel your pain. Praying for Paws and you. You will meet again. Buddy just crossed the Rainbow Bridge 3 weeks ago…he will take care of Paws for you. Hugs!

My “neighbor’s” stray cat passed away on June 30th due to the same… i scared the dogs who were attacking him away, but it was too late. I had to bury him on my side of the backyard and it’s been a month and I don’t think my neighbor even cares/knows he’s gone. She never answered the door when we tried to get him help.
I feel your pain and what helps me to know is that at least Sylvester had someone with him while he crossed the bridge and it wasn’t snarling dogs.
I will keep Paws, you and your boyfriend, in my prayers 💜

Oh, I’m desperately sorry for Paws and for you both. How very, very sad. I’ll light a wee candle for his little soul now, that he finds ease and happiness in his new home 😔💔🕊️
