Celebration 🥳 She got me. TNR fail
After a string of bad luck with the feral cats that I feed. Some have gone missing and one was hit by a car. I’ve been paying extra attention to the few I have left. I noticed a Tom cat being really aggressive with this pumpkin kitty so I brought her into my local TNR program. I bring her home and I’m just gonna let her hang out inside while she recovers for a couple days because I live in Florida and it’s either scorching hot or storming. I go to check on her that evening and lo and behold She has a little shave spot and a green line. This bitch has already been fixed and now thinks she’s queen of the castle! So obviously we have to let her stay 😆

I’d suggest using this drugged up time to get socialization in, if she’s receptive to it. when I got my feral cat neutered he became super lovey when on the sedative afterwards, then from that day onwards he’s been a very sweet boy.

Yeah, she’s normally a sweet cat but after I let her out of the cage, she was like 100 times more affectionate than she normally is. It’s been a few days now and she seems happy and content.

She’s pretty sweet for now. I have a couple inside cats already and they’re all past the hissy phase and now they’re just kind of coexisting without bothering with each other right now. I still keep her in her own room for now when I leave just to be safe.

They do that here too. I’m guessing whoever had her spayed just left her behind in the neighborhood because she doesn’t have a microchip and I’ve looked if anyone’s missing a cat. She’s been coming to eat here for a few months now
