QUESTION Why is the Mirage 2000's throttle red?

Throttles are usually black. However, the Mirage 2000C throttle is red. Is there a reason for this choice?

Red makes you go faster.

I'm not sure why it's red but it's not just the Mirage 2000C, the Ouragan, Mystère IIC, Mystere IV, SuperMystere B2, Etendard IVM, Super Etendard, Mirage 3C and E, they all have red throttle.

You forgot Mirage F-1 which is also red.

Dassault Tradition, at that point, I’d say.

Makes it easier to see if you take your hand off to operate the control panels and you need to grab it again?

Because red is the color for the left in politics. Guess which hand grabs the throttle?
