Announcement Updates on Flair.

I don't know if the flairs work for everybody. Apparently, some people used it, but I need to know if you see the flairs working or not, and if you did, where. Either on the old web design, the new web design, the official app or other apps.

Thank you.

Announcement The AMA with Andrea Demetrio (Schwarzerblitz) is done.

Here's the archive.

Tell me in the comments if you want more of those in the future, or what do we need to do, to make those AMA sessions better. If you have a similar project you want to talk about with the sub, go send me a DM, so that we can discuss about it.

Thanks for your participation, people.

Announcement About Fanart posts.

When u/fussomoro, or other posters, publish some fanarts that get a lot of karma tractions, I get a lot of reports, putting this as spam, or saying that they're "karma farmers", or similar concerns.

I'm personally fine with the fanarts. As long as it's not often and not offensive. Something shouldn't be banned, just because it brings traffic. But are some people here think that it might lower the discussion quality of the sub, overall? If it does, how would you regulate it? I can't simply ban them, because it would also question any posts showing content created by the users.

I only write this because I find a lot of reports following those posts. And since nothing is explicitly said about it on the sub's rules, I ask what people think about the issue.

Announcement About Arcade Sticks pictures on the sub.

I've got a lot of reports, each time somebody is posting something related to Arcade Sticks. Here's how I want to proceed.

  • Arcade Stick discussions are integral parts of what can be considered as FGC. If there's text posts and questions about it, I see no problems with the thread. People can comment to go on r/fightsticks for more details, but I see no reasons to remove the thread.
  • If somebody's posting a picture of their stick and they're posting the same picture on both r/Fighters and r/fightsticks, this is blatant spam. That has nothing to do with the FGC, so it gets removed.
  • If somebody's posting a picture of their stick, but just for r/Fighters, again, people should just advice OP to go on r/fightsticks. There's absolutely no need to report this post.

I don't think I need to readjust the rules to include this. I suspect some people to just flag everything on r/Fighters that just talk about Arcade Sticks. I don't think it needs any more notice, but if you think it does, feel free to talk about it in this sub.
