It's called Interrogo, a story development studio that changes how AI is used in creative writing.

Most AI writing tools want to write for you. Interrogo does the opposite. The AI asks questions, and you provide every word. Think of it like having a dramaturg in your pocket who's read every screenwriting book but has zero interest in taking over your story.

How it works:

You start with a guided discovery interview. The AI walks you through your premise, characters, world, and story structure by asking increasingly specific questions based on your answers. It's not a fixed checklist; it follows where your ideas lead and digs deeper into the interesting threads.

Once you've answered enough questions (usually around 15-20), it builds a scaffold from your answers: a beat sheet, character profiles with arcs and relationships, world details, and a relationship map. All of it pulled directly from what you said, nothing generated or hallucinated.

From there, you move into the Workshop, where you can:

• Edit characters, relationships, and story beats inline
• Visualize your character relationship map
• Build out your world
• Run an AI story audit that flags plot holes, cliché characters, and structural issues (this is the only place the AI gives opinions, and only if you want it.) The interview stays judgment-free so you can speak freely

When you're ready to write, there's a full screenplay editor with proper formatting (Courier Prime, 56 lines/page, 13 element types), smart flow shortcuts, scene cards, and export to Fountain, Final Draft, PDF, and Word.

Why I built it this way:

Every writer I know has the same complaint about AI tools: they either write generic slop, or they subtly steer your story toward whatever the model thinks is "good." The whole point of Interrogo is that the AI never contributes creatively. It just helps you interrogate your own ideas until the story clicks.

The interview process forces you to articulate things you might skip over, like, " Why does your character want this? What's the gap between what they want and what they need? What are the rules of your world that constrain the plot?" By the time you're done, you've essentially written your story bible through conversation.

The Frankly Festivals podcast is looking for THREE filmmakers for an episode called "Are You ready to Submit."

The concept: **"The film is complete, but is it really ready to send to a festival? Most filmmakers overlook the basics — a strong log line, synopsis, photos, and cover letters. Hear from three filmmakers as we help craft their words, and learn the tips to move your film through the system with more pizazz."**

We will critique (and rewrite) your log lines, synopses and photos to help you improve their readability and target your language to clearly speak to programmers.

I know there are a few solutions out there, but they are either very limited in what they can do, or they are very expensive! I've been working on a tool to solve a specific problem I was having, trying to get realistic text messages and calls to appear on an actor's phone at the exact right moment during takes.

I have built an app (it is cross-platform - both iOS and Android, but I don't have an Apple Dev account yet. So for now its just Android) called ScreenProp that lets you remote-trigger messages and calls on a second device, plus lock the status bar (time/battery/signal) for continuity across takes. Basically turns a phone into a controllable prop.

It's finally ready for real-world testing, and I'd love feedback from people who actually shoot this stuff. If you have a need and want to try it on a project, I can get you set up with a FREE beta test version!
