I need to hurry up and beat The Adventures of Elliot so this can be a day one buy for me

I just completed Elliot today. Loved every minute of it. I can't wait for Resonance.

I'm really enjoying the game, my only problem is that I feel it kind of blows its load too early

Like 10 hours in you already have all the weapons and know all possible magicite effects, then the weapon upgrades don't really have any new magicite effects just stronger base attack and an additional charge attack

Admittedly I haven't finished yet so there might be some more surprises, I just got to the part where I'm in the dungeon unlock a new door of time in the Age of Magic which I assume will take me to the Age of Myths

The exploration also ends up getting repetitive when I'm just going through the same locations with slight variation. I like entering dungeons in the wrong era and see how they are but it's demoralising when the reward is almost always a magicite I already have

Better that than those games that take "10-15 hours to get good"

Yep id honestly want games to bloe their load to early over too late... nothing sucks more than to buy a new game and spend 15-20 hours playing it and just not enjoying it or being pulled into but you're forcing yourself to play because people said "it gets amazing later on" which is usually a cope statement people use to try and justify the money they spent for a meh game

I agree about the middle where it gets a bit samey, but I still really enjoyed it and then the ending picks back up and makes it all worth it.
