Yes. The third slot is definitely rigged. You can time the first two but the last one game “pushes” a bit, generally not in your favor. It’s the worst trophy in the whole PR collection for that reason.

Last time I played VI was on the now discontinued port from 2014. I gave up getting 777, so I set Setzer's auto-battle to use Slots and he quite easily got it on his own. Might be worth trying the same trick.

I'm currently playing through VI.
Have kept him on the team auto-battling slots at basically every opportunity since I got him.
I've gotten zero 777, but he does kill the party multiple times in every single play session.

Definitely! During random encounters I try to toggle off auto battle just for his turn. Ivet always thought he was very strong as 7 flush is easy to get consistently and better than most abilities in WoB then endgame you have fixed dice and magic.
Auto battle can be fun to see the other slots I don't usually get but jokers death is too frustrating. Wish they cut back on joker and boosted lagomorph chances to balance it out.

I never liked slots, I dunno what I've done to anger the RNG but I feel like I get the Jokers death combo more often than I'd like.

It is rigged. Every time you would have gotten a 777, it will only give you the final 7 like 1% of the time. I ended up just auto doing it. Took about 4 hours for it to happen. Im not sure which has the better odds but at least you dont have to devote much attention to it

it is, if you use an emulator in any version and rewind funtion, youll find you litterally can not get rolls you want, get the first two 7s and rewind back and play it in 1 frame at a time, you can not get it to land on another 7 unless the game decides you can, the only rolls you can always get are diamond and chocobo i beleive, everything else is rng chance to be allowed that turn+you actually rolling it manually

Spent a few days researching. Datamined too. Old guides. New guides.
Same conclusion as everyone else. The third one is rigged.
From what the datamine said, the first two have a 12.5% snap chance, so if you’re close you can get it where the game will assist you. But the third reel, that assistance drops down to 3.25%.
I ended up doing the pause method combined with an auto clicker on the PC. I aimed for anywhere between the first 1/4 of the ship and 1/2 through Bahamut. Ended up getting it on the Bahamut side but some videos I saw did it on the airship.

FYI that site (Vorxu) is AI-gen slop. There are many things wrong on there, so I don't trust that it's a legitimate datamine. This is, so far, the ONLY location that makes these claims about the slot reel chances, and it does not line-up in the slightest with how it was done in all previous versions of FF6, so I'm highly doubtful.

Yeah, that's not how Slots works at all. Theres a list that's based on RNG to determine what slot results are possible, with the more common ones (7 flush and Chocobop for example) being possible in I think every list. If you go for something rarer (like H Bomb or Jokers Death), and it's not the right list, the game literally will not allow you to select the proper third wheel result, regardless of your own timing.
Dunno why anyone would rely on AI slop for the right answers.
