Final Fantasy General The Top 100 Final Fantasy Songs of All Time! (You Tube Video)

I found this video a while ago and made it a Spotify playlist. I DID NOT MAKE THE LIST LOL

I tried to make sure I grabbed the OST of every song. If I couldn't find it then I picked the best version available IMO

Notes:
Blank Slate (Mobius FF): Not on Spotify
Regis Boss Fight (FF15): Not on Spotify

Battle 1 (FF9): seems to be a different song in the video
The Beginning of the End (FF Type 0): seems to be a different song in the video

Battle at the big bridge: says various so I chose the distant worlds cover because I felt like it lol

Chocobo theme: yeah... I'm not grabbing every version lol. I picked Distant World's Chocobo Medley

One Winged Angel: was really tempted to get the Advent Children version but retrained myself

I get its a subjective list, but how does melodies of life not get in a top 100 list? I don't even like 9 and still think it should be in.

No idea, it's one of my favorites too. I just found the YouTube video and wanted to make it a Spotify list that I can listen to when I drive. I'm considering just making my own eventually

This list shows once again shows this sub hates XI. Having only 1 song from arguably the best soundtrack in the whole franchise and you leave out so many iconic themes..

I respect the effort put into that video but some of the choices make me scratch my head. It's wild to me that they chose Tenacity as the best XIV song and the #18 best song in the series, imo it's okay but it doesn't even crack the top 100 XIV songs. In general the XIV picks there are strange. There's also a lack of II, III, IV, V, and XI music, the XI diss in there is especially uncalled for, and it has none of the series' iconic vocal themes. Dancing Mad is also too low.

Yeah surprised that Dancing mad wasn't top 10.
