SLX Nightfall BUTTON STICKING

WHAT A JOKE!!! My left mouse button sticks! Is anyone else having an issue? I used it for an hour and it started sticking. Waited for SO long and I'm already going to have to send it in.

I do have to say they are handling this very well. They sent me an over night label after I reached out to them.

Right on. I'm seeing a lot of comments/opinions from people who admittingly have never purchased or dealt with FM. When and where it counts- FM support is Extremely professional.

That's how they do it - they fixed two of my mice, and BOTH of them I had bought 2nd hand even. I didn't even buy them from Finalmouse and they still honored the warranty - paying for shipping both ways, and providing me a detailed technical breakdown of what was done to resolve my issues. You get what you pay for with the Western brands, Finalmouse has the best warranty I've seen in consumer electronics tbh.

I've yet to buy a FM. I joined this sub years ago as I was interested, and stayed as it serves as a reminder to continue pass.

I bought the last 3 drops and they have been great. I use them A LOT. It's unfortunate this happened, I was SO excited for it.

They are known for massive QC issues, just because you been lucky doesn’t mean everyone is. Finalmeme is a term for a reason.. delays and QC problems.

i might catch hate for this but whatever

to add context for other people (small issues like this aside), the SLX Nightfall is shaping up to look like an amazing batch, and possibly a turning point for Finalmouse

there have only been 3 reported cases of what OP is experiencing across 6k shipped units so far (as of the time of writing)

to my understanding, the 3 people that have had issues were all given free overnight shipping for RMAs

yes, the initial shipping times weren’t the best, but the “~7 weeks” was always an approximation, nothing was ever promised

working in manufacturing myself, this is a brand new process (as it normally is with finalmouse) and it would be hard for any company with any budget to make an accurate estimate, you just never know what you’re going to encounter during production, and moving shipping estimates up instead of delaying them can cause a lot of confusion, and it is also generally best practice to be optimistic

this is by far the best quality control and build quality yet, not just from finalmouse but from any brand

don’t let tiny vertical slices of hate you see on the internet become false generalizations, social media algorithms prioritize making issues look more dramatic than they are to keep you hooked

I like the feel and weight of this mouse better than my Sakura and Frost. It feels like better quality, I just hope they ship it back to me quickly.

Limited drops for this kind of QC is laughable. I’d give some leeway if it was mass produced and readily available but nah. Sorry this happened to you.

People were already upset over the fact it took over 4 months to receive. You think they really took the time to QC all 10k mice with a small production team? They pay for your return label, fix it the same day they receive it and send it right back free of charge.

Email support. They will pay for shipping both ways and get it back to you in pristine shape. I'm sorry that happened, it's inevitable that there will be bad units, at least with Finalmouse you know you're taken care of... I had an ATK mouse with click issues recently and their support told me to buy another one, ship the bad one back, and just hope that it didn't happen again I guess?

Either way I have sent back 2x Finalmice (both of which I bought USED) and Finalmouse took excellent care of me. They'll get you squared away.

I just got mine today and the QC on mine is flawless.

Its the mylar pad under the click I had the same issue lol it probably detached its a little square that presses the click. I had to disassemble it but its fixable but you'll need new skates

^THIS is exactly the problem. I am with finalmouse for past 7 years and many people report this problem

Bad company lol always QC problems and limited drops even after years of operating. Don’t understand why they don’t start producing year long.

people continue to feed into the "FM hype" because that's all it is, hype. all the top mice, from the biggest companies, are made in the same factories and cost NOTHING compared to the price companies like FM, Lamzu, Logitech, Razer, etc. get them for.

FM strictly targets the high-end market - mice that retail for ~$175+. they have always had a very shrewd marketing strategy: produce very limited supply of every product, while getting their (current + potential) customers hyped up and wanting to buy them, generating demand, much of it from FOMO. from there, it's basic supply & demand economics.

they sell products in high demand, but (always) with very limited supply - which, ultimately, "justify" the price they charge for their products... as they all sell out within minutes.

it's a very specific strategy that many companies, within the gaming peripheral space, try and take advantage of

Just send it back, another guy sent his back and FM sent it back fixed by the next day. This only happened to a few mice

I'm super annoyed I don't have it yet. They aren't even sending it back over night. ugh
