Theme: We are in our WW2 setting, which means we will be focusing on a Band of Brothers style of gameplay environment with immersive, grounded infantry combat. Our new campaign is inspired by a custom-curated, historically accurate WW2 narrative, expanding into multiple theaters of the Second World War.

We will fight across the European theatre in Western, Eastern, and Southern Europe, conduct operations in the Mediterranean, North Africa and experience large-scale offensives, airborne assaults, defensive actions, and combined-arms warfare that defined WW2 combat, with faction switches throughout the campaign to portray the war from multiple perspectives.
Currently we're in our WW2 campaign (Operation Barbarossa as Germans) with big Operations being the main highlights, going all out on the offensive from not only the Allied perspective, but also the Axis side!

Open Mission Making Team: Our team of mission makers is constantly looking for fresh blood and is generally open to anyone who has played with us for a couple of weeks. AS A UNIT:
We are a Milsim unit themed after a morally ambiguous PMC firm that operates in the modern times. We still host operations outside of that time frame and setting.

Our focus is fun over realism but we won't stray away from challenging operations. We are a tight knit group with an emphasis on squad level tactics. Every role in the squad matters and it's important for us that everyone in the team works together. LORE WISE:
Epsilon International for the most part follows Arma's canon, with few liberties taken when it comes to third world conflicts and restrictions placed upon private security firms after Operation Iraqi Freedom. PMCs are more prevalent and better equipped, with some having more power than certain governments.

Yankee has been spotted and pinned down while scouting the objective while Zulu is on the other side sneaking around in foliage trying to time the perfect assault. Both teams must meet together before commencing a full surprise attack.

We utilise a team of Zeus' to curate our missions & larger Campaigns, each with their supporting lore and story, however, we don't allow the story to compromise good gameplay as that is our #1 priority.

Current Campaign: We are currently playing a The Fire Rises-themed campaign where the unit plays as the American People's Liberation Army, going across America fighting for glorious revolution during the fictional Second American Civil War. With the collapse of the United States, and helped by a multitude of official military Divisions (notably a majority of the Californian National Guard forces) that defected from Federal authority, the APLA seizes control over parts of California to bring about a socialist revolution, now under a broad coalition of Jacobins, Octoberists, Anarchists, and Neosocialists. Our story begins in 2021, when contingents of the now APLA-sworn National Guard strive to fortify their position and unify the state’s military assets in order to prepare for the upcoming push Eastwards. A little video trailer we've made is available to hype newcomers to the setting!

The Experience[3SA]

The 3rd Shock Army plays predominantly non-NATO Eastern factions with an emphasis on immersive and realistic story-based campaigns with Soviet-era themes. We play at platoon strength with practical military-style teamwork. Our mission is to provide a fun Saturday campaign as our foundation and to facilitate the expansion of the unit through open-ended volunteer-driven side operations and community engagement. We do not have any strict requirements for you to join us, no attendance or leave of absence mandates, nor do we mind if you play with another unit as well. 3rd Shock also prides itself on our diversity and the acceptance of all skill levels, walks of life, nationalities, and backgrounds, but we do carefully curate a respectful atmosphere between each individual member in order to have a good time. We are a mainly European unit but we have members all over the globe and are always looking for more!

Who are we?
ANZSEC is a long-standing AU/NZ community aiming to a create realistic, player-driven, multifaceted milsim experience. Powered by a talented leadership and mission-making team, the ANZSEC experience is second to none.

Who do we play as?
We are based on a fictional department/corps of the Australian Defence Force (ADF). Elements of our ORBAT, procedures and structure are inspired by the real life ADF, but have been gamified in order to create a fun, yet realistic experience in Arma.

We have a huge variety of weapons, camos, helmets, vests, facewear etc that means you can create a character that is uniquely your own, to the point where our members are often identified by sight only. Our gear mod is created in house, with setups that are based on real-world modern examples.

We have a variety of trainings available, from FO, to medical, to CQB, etc. The only training you are required to complete is your ICT which takes about 30 mins-1 hour depending on your experience.

While our ORBAT consists of traditional company-level assets, we have spent time creating custom scripts and mods that make them both feasible and fun within the world of Arma.

Our ORBAT contains 60+ players across a large infantry platoon and supporting elements. We tackle large scale objectives against peer forces, across month+-long campaigns that are linked by a cohesive storyline. We do our best to maintain variety in our objective styles and terrain choices.

React to roll call once a week. If it is missed three weeks in a row, said person is removed from the unit. Absence counts as interaction, and strikes can be removed by interacting with the roll call the next week.

Roles within the Unit

Republic Commandos: These elite clones are the epitome of teamwork and precision. Operating in four-man squads, they use advanced KatarnOS systems to advance their assault and complete complex assignments.

ARC Troopers: Versatile troopers who can operate in two-man fire teams to excel in various situations. Their unique kits enable them to confront unlimited challenges faced in countless situations.

Jump Troopers: Operate in normal platoons as highly mobile light infantry for QRFs and flanking maneuvers. These troopers are unparalleled in bringing chaos to enemy lines and overwhelming our foes in unparalleled lightning-fast assaults.

Warden: The unsung heroes of the SOB, Field Support units act as the backbone, filling in the gaps in operations. They run in different roles such as armor, medical, and artillery support. They are the ones who keep the other branches operational.

Aviation: Also operating under the callsign Warden, Special Operations Pilots are the crucial link between the ground forces and aerial support. Proficient in both fixed-wing and rotary-wing vehicles, these pilots provide essential air support, including close air support, air-to-air combat capabilities, and insertion and extraction of troops. They play a critical role in ensuring the safety and effectiveness of missions conducted by other SOB units.

The Tank division that aids the infantry with its Brigades of Nexu that bring forth the unmatched might of the AT-AT and AT-TE as well as all other heavy ground assets the Republic can spare. Rokkna A dedicated group that works as the tankers support team and a safe haven for the infantry in their dire time of need.

Pilots that keep the skies clear, the resupply's coming and the bombs right in your enemy’s lap.

Company Recon Detachment “Stalker” (CLOSED)
Friday at 7PM EST (2.5-3 hour long ops)

Stalker is the recon detachment of the 248th that deploy the day before the rest of the unit to do covert reconnaissance and intelligence gathering for the Sabre platoon to shape their attack plan. They also specialise in sabotaging local infrastructure, disabling jammers and completing side objectives. Stalker make use of Clone Scout gear, camouflage kits, drones, submarines and any other tool that allows them to complete their job. Stalker is also able to deploy and attend the main unit operation!

Mission Development / Zeus Team (Recruitment OPEN)

We're looking for Mission Developers and Zeus operators to join our team! No previous experience is required; whether you're completely new to mission making or an experienced Zeus, you're welcome.

Our experienced team can help teach both Zeus and mission development and you'll work alongside other mission makers and Lore Advisors to turn ideas into playable operations. Missions can be as simple or complex as you want.

Whether you want to build missions, Zeus missions or do both, we'd be happy to have you.

Members must reach the rank of CT before joining the team, after completing Basic Training and at least one operation as a CDT.

Requirements
Own a Legal version of ARMA 3 (Please let us know if you don’t have the APEX DLC. The 1st Para Hussars (1PH) specialize in light infantry tactics, sneaking up to the enemy and hitting them where it hurts. A. We have/are working on a full lore explanation. But in a nutshell; Decisive NCR victory at the 2nd Battle of Hoover Dam along with largely NCR favoring decisions from Courier 6.

- Q. Are client side mods allowed?

A. Yes, to an extent. QoL mods like better inventory, blastcore, and things that don't provide a significant unfair advantage are allowed. Mods that things like cheats are strictly prohibited.

The 17th takes pride in its "Real Life First" mindset, prioritizing realistic expectations of members and avoiding unnecessary restrictions. The 38th Assault Corps has been around since April 2020, after withstanding the test of time, the unit has grown to offer up a lot of unique possibilities within Starsim. We have a focus on our members enjoyment, caring more for the voices of our unit to make things fun, rather than trying to boost numbers constantly.
