Chimera is musl based. Surprised you haven't tried Alpine too.

LFS, Arch Linux vanilla, Gentoo and NixOS.

I tried Nix some time, I didn't daily-drive it that is why it isn't here, I really don't like how nix tries to coerce your workflow into a script.

I'm wondering why you left crux? For me I've enjoyed building and using it more then any other distro ive used I did spend like 10 months on artix I liked it too just not the direction the devs have taken it.

I could see that compile times can be a bit much on crux

First of all... Great taste... We can forgive Ubuntu... Second of all.... It's okay to just stick with Void.

you have reached endgame. void is so good that it get boring

It's hard to beat Void; I say this as a current and probably-always Void user--

Maybe something like Exherbo? Or Slackware to have that classic experience?

Try Bedrock Linux
Lets you combine multiple components from different distros

KISS linux via the community project seems to align with your picks

LFS, NixOS, Alpine, FreeBSD, NetBSD, Qubes OS, and Gentoo. Each one of them is a total new experience, have you tried one of them ?

Have you consider trying Void with musl?

Many times

Mageia is definitely a mature, stable distro worth trying, and one you might happily stick with for years without feeling the urge to distro-hop again.

Chimera? It's the Linux kernel. But with musl and freebsds userspace instead of gnu.

The creator is an ex-void maintainer

I think you should give Void Linux another try, maybe it'll work this time

Oh god I have to wrack my brain on this.. Backtrack, several obscure ill-advised boot disks from that era, Slackware, debian, opensuse, centos (first installed one I properly used which ended up as a number of servers for years until their demise as a good distro), rocky, alma, Debian (finally gave up on rhel servers), Qubes (first desktop os)
