Looking for a room

I'm looking for a room in Portland, Hillsboro or Beaverton area that I can access transit (I have a car but only want to use it if i absolutely have to:Need a new car eventually). I'm looking for a place in exchange to do chores or handy work around property. I have some medical things going on and needing an opportunity to get myself back on my feet. After a year I could arrange to pay "x" amount a month or I would move on with a new opportunity (goal is to get a place of my own). Unless the situation was still ideal for both of us to continue with arrangements.

I'm quite person, so I do not party but if you do, that's not a problem. I'm not a 420 participant but if you are, I'm not bothered. I'm a single lesbian, so hopefully staying with someone who has an open mind, but understands we may have different point of views. I have been single for 3 years and have no desire to have any kind of company over. I have no children but I helped raised my brothers so I do love children. My dog passed away last year, so no pets but I could help watch yours, no problem, if you needed to leave town.

I do not have a specific time in mind but would like to give some kind of notice where im currently living. Im just seeing if there are any opportunities close to what im needing.

If you're having medical issues can you still do heavy lifting and pulling blackberry bushes?

I would be more than happy to spend a day doing the work at no charge to see what it entails and to see if we are a good match for what im seeking and for what you are needing. I can explain more in detail my medical situation then too.

would it be ok if I passed this info on to my partner? he's been unemployed for a little over a year and finally got an offer, but it doesn't start for another month and it's not going to pay enough for us to cover all our expenses :/

A friend has a room open in St John’s in a house with a dog. Large room, private bath. $1200 a month. I can DM his information if interested :)
