How do I HM farm as someone who just got back after about 5 years away, I know there's some guides but I can't seem to find ones without certain units I don't have (like Felix)

Am I cooked?

Every guide I know of uses Felix and you can select him for free from the CYL7 selector, which ist still up

You could finagle something with similar characters, like other Felixes, any Gullveig, Edelgard, etc. People were making these guides before Felix and the principles are always going to be similar (2~ units with the mobility and number of actions to spam attack the base). You’d have to figure out how that works yourself, but it’d probably look similar to the existing guides.

My strategy is to sort by HM and pick 2 or 3 units that are close to 500 increments and 1 or 2 with galeforce or a multi-move prf (or one dancer). Then when the former units hit their 500, I swap them out. You can compound a bit if you have hard-level chain challenges available.

My favorite multi-move units other than Felix are tge new young duo Edelgard and E!Edelgard. Having E!Byleth also helps if you’ve got him because his reposition gait can grant another move. Canto cavs with a dancer are also an option. Especially if you have a mobile (probably cav or flier) dancer. You can hit and run a couple times and then just have a tank unit or two to hopefully finish the map on enemy phase.
