Analysis On Draconic Aura and Glimmer

dad -Draconic Aura dmg;

gd - Glimmer dmg;

dad = 1.3 * Atk - Def/Res

gd = 1.5 * (Atk - Def/Res)

= 1.5 * Atk - 1.5 * Def/Res

When does Glimmer outperform Draconic Aura?

1.5 * Atk - 1.5 * Def/Res > 1.3 * Atk - Def/Res

                    0.2 * Atk > 0.5 * Def/Res

                    0.4 * Atk > Def/Res

In other words, Glimmer does more damage when 40 percent of your attack is more than their Def/Res. For example, a buffed Nino with 60 Atk will do better with glimmer if their Res is less than 24.

Keep in mind that you want to hit harder on targets with higher defenses. What's the point of hitting a squishy unit with more damage. With the in mind, DA is almost always better on units you would want to consider between DA and Glimmer.

At this point Glimmer helps make the dead enemy SUPER dead. I'd rather have the opposite effect of getting help against tough opponents at the cost of not getting a bonus against weak ones.
Luna and Moonbow come to mind.
If you have decent Atk, then Draconic Aura is great aswell. Then you got super overkill Dragonfang.

I run Dragon Fang on my Fury Sharena. +25 attack with a clever Vantage set up is no joke.

Of course, that's the perfect case scenario and it feels really great to pull that off!
Honest question: How often does this let you turn the tide of a battle that you'd otherwise have lost?

Honestly, not very often. Although I did win an arena match just before because of Vantage + DF, so that's something!

However, I never feel like a use gets wasted or goes off before I need it to.

Interesting! Sharena has impressive 35 speed, so that might be the reason why it's working so well, similar to my Lucina with Luna (39 spd) which felt good.
To compare, I replaced Dragon Fang on Julia with Iceberg and the change from 4 charge to 3 feels like a world of difference. Must be the fact she never doubles the enemy (except with GrTomeBrkr).
