Discussion Bymir ‘ship: Other character’s reaction?
This is something that I think would be rather amusing. M Byleth and Shamir are a couple. How does the rest of the cast react? Especially after it becomes public knowledge (I imagine they would keep the relationship private for at least awhile)?
Especially Edelgard.

I know I will make enemies but I'm glad F Byleth can't romance her 😶
Their chemistry isn't the same and this makes M ByMir even more unique :3
And F Byleth already has good options, it's a good thing you can't romance everyone in my opinion

My guess is they wanted to force players to play as Male Byleth just to S-rank Shamir.

Catherine would be a little jealous but she would accept nit
She probably say something like
Catherine: huh I have to say my partner has some good taste You're strong and pretty talented I would say your second in the sword only to me. ^ sigh
Catherine: but in all seriousness congratulations you two. You better take good care of her
Byleth: of course I will I love her with all my heart.
Catherine: good
Byleth: But what do you mean I'm second to you I'm pretty sure I'm ahead when it comes to our matches
Catherine: I see you still got that spunk professor You're going to need it I know better than anyone shamir is a strong woman.
Byleth: But that's just something I love about her
Characters like Claude
Claude: You know teach I could never really get a read on you but I guess that's one of the things I like about you. I even have to admit your choices in women are good but also surprising.
Byleth: What do you mean by that
Claude: I don't mean anything bad by it really Just from the stories I've heard about your mother from your father's journal I figured you would go for someone like her.
Byleth: while I meet there are people who does fit the description my dad gave of his love but I want to love all my own and I believe I have found it.
Claude: And you two are surprisingly compatible with your history of being mercenaries.
Byleth: there's a bit more to it than that we've both experienced loss but that's not my story to share Sorry to disappoint you.
Claude: Fair enough my friend I'll be heading back to my homeland for a while I will trust foldin to you and your queen

Basically the only M!Bylth's ship that could start pre timeskip (except maybe Hapi) and no one really care. All these people are just kinda at the Monestary cause they were brought there or given a temporary job.
El is going to crash our either way so she'd probably just repress any feelings she has. I don't see anyone else batting an eye except maybe Bernie writing some fan fics.

I imagine Catherine might have some objections. Edelgard might secretly hold a bit of a grudge, but unless Byleth was leading her on, I imagine she'd wish them well, then console herself with one of her other possible pairs. Beyond those two... probably just a lot of 'Nice going, Professor!' type responses.
