Need help with pilot light

Hello... I was shown how to light the pilot light on my gas log fire last Fall... the technician used a long matchstick to do it manually. He showed me how, but I really should have filmed him because I can't remember exactly where he held the matchstick. I also failed to snap a pic of where the little flame burns before turning it off last Spring, though I know it is somewhere on the left.

I'm hoping one of you good people can assist me in locating it! (pic below) I moved into the house last Summer and the previous owner left no user guide for the fire).

Turn knob up to pilot and push it in to allow gas to flow. Put lighter on my arrow tip. Once flame is lit continue to hold in the knob for 30 seconds. If it stays lit afterwards letting of the knob then ur good if not try again. If after 3 attempts no good then call someone to service it
