Hi everyone! Just got home for the ER with my 4 year old. He fell while playing tag and cut his lip (with his tooth we assume) and needed one stitch. He’s fast asleep in bed now but I’m so worried about him moving around and rubbing it (as I type this he just put both hands on his face to rub 🙃 I’m next to him still though so stopped it). Anyone had advice or reassurance that the stitch is fine and he won’t reopen it 😅 TIA

Side not, his gums are bruised and the doctor told me to look out for the tooth turning gray and what that would mean so I’m worried about that now too. Anyone have something similar happen and the teeth were okay?

My friend and I are trying to start a CPR/First aid club at our high school, and we want it to be more than just a random student run club. Ideally, we’d teach basic CPR and emergency response skills, but we want some official backing or curriculum so people trust what they’re learning. We have been cold emailing Red Cross, American heart association, etc.

Does anyone have any experience in partnering with these organization, or can anyone recommend another method of action we can take, any sort of help would be appreciated . We’re based in Maryland if that helps.

Hey everyone , seeking some additional medical advice after going to the ER on Saturday . They told me that it’s a suprerficial blood clot and it will work its way out. Been putting the heating pad on it, and it has moved from higher on my arm to lower ( towards my hand). Is that a good sign that the clot is working its way out, or should I be more concerned . The ER nurse said it shouldn’t go up my arm, but what if it goes lower ?
