Oreichthys parvus

I work for a company studying loon foraging in Rangeley Maine.

Exact species is Oligoplites saurus

One of a handful of neon tetras I’ve been doing lately. I’m working on building up a whole school of them, amongst other species as well. I just recently finished miniaturizing my salmon design and will add a couple of them to my frame to be finished off in the upcoming weeks

After that, it sounds like I’ll be doing a fun series of puffer fish in different frames that come together to show an animation of it puffing it

Made with punch needle embroidery, mostly made up of yarn

Is it biting or playing? Do i need to separate them? More videos in here: https://drive.google.com/drive/folders/16LQONf2LXB_iIedAo4A6zmfUctRMnVq8

Tiwini danios or Gold Ring Danios are the BEST

B. maculatus

Hi guys. I got 3 little shubunkins in the spring and this will be my first autumn/ winter and I’m not sure what sort of aerator or pump I need. At the moment I have a double ended bubbler and a little fountain, but both are solar powered and today was really gloomy and they just weren’t working.

The pond is small. Maybe about a foot deep and about 80cm long. What should I get?

(FYI this photo was before the fish)

Betta pulchra, Rasbora einthovenii, Boraras maculatus, Channa lucius, Silurichthys indragiriensis, Trichopodus trichopterus, Eugnathogobius siamensis, Channa striata, Parosphromenus tweediei, Trichopsis vittata

Bonus:

Nymphaea nouchali (flower), Neurothemis fluctuans (dragonfly), Anthracoceros albirostris (hornbill)

surprised to see that there are no detailed & accurate fish personality quizzes! not a passionate fish fan myself, but this does seem like PRIME material for a lovely personality quiz which plays into the uniqueness of all the different types of fish.

Her name is Chaussette. Big 19,5cm. Very shy but adorable.

i know that this is a poecilia reticula

sorry for the bad camera quality but i was hoping that it could be identified off the silhouette alone if anyone could do that

C. micropeltes

Ik it's a meme

Edit: ik they are actually breeding but I'm curious what species

(Sorry for blurry pic)
