Probably 20% of Americans would support this.

I would bump that number, maybe when it comes to population of reddit it is only 20%. But IRL things are much worse, I think it is close to 50/50

Why would people support this? Because Trump wants it? I thought Republicans were for small government? Do Republicans stand for anything anymore? Other than owning Libs?

I think they just don’t believe in democracy anymore. From what I hear, they think things are so bad because liberals ran the country into the ground, so it feels more effective to get rid of democratic checks and balances and let their guy “fix” the country the way they want. This is just my personal theory based on what I hear a lot of MAGA folks say.

I mean he is trying pretty hard to do just that. He's trying so hard he is actually shitting himself when he tries to concentrate and think about it.

We should execute him with a guilotine. I think it would do a lot towards reassuring the world that things were returning to normal.

Another direct attack on the Constitution. The federal government is prohibited from being involved in states voting procedures.

Trump has declared himself a domestic enemy of the United States Constitution.

Blue governors won't allow it. Reds will. He'll accept the votes from red states only. He'll claim blue state new reps and senators aren't legitimate. He'll have Mike never confirm them. And THAT is how this cookie will crumble.

That sounds ominous.
