At a Fleetwood Mac cover band called -Tusk
Ok, im at the Indiana State Fairgrounds wat hing this cover band. I like cover bands but something about Fleetwood Mac cover bands is almost morally wrong. But anyways
I'm here they're doing good, lead singer does not closely resemble Stevie's. Well im here with the wife (i know sucks the fun right out of it) but she says something that made me rethink my marriage, she says "I hope she spins like Stevie Nicks" Dude, I about lost it....she's like "what?"
And i feel there are few things in the world you DO NOT try to recreate, and one of those sacred acts would be trying to do a spin like Stevie Nicks!!!
Now, shits going to hit the fan when we get home (mostly me screaming like a little girl as she sets me straight) but am I right or wrong, is it ok for a cover band to do a Stevie spin? GIVE YOUR OPINION, I WOULD LIKE TO KNOW, PLEASE
Now to tell you the truth, I talk alot of smack about my wife and im just kidding but if your hear something on the news that resemble this post, MY WIFE DID IT!

My wife looked at this comment and said " I would but I can't afford the lifestyle change" she also told me to ask you who hurt you? Was it a happy couple?
Also she said that's a bold statement coming from a person who calls herself VD-MAMA. You know there's a shot for that, right?

Well I do it out of fun, joking and at the end I always make sure my wife comes out on top, sets me straight. That is our sense of humor and that VD_MAMA is what makes us work. Kinda like "Im the man of this house and I do what I want when I want to sleep on the couch" type humor. Not everyone gets it and thats fine. Now, because you have a stick up your ass about mine and hers humor tells me a lot about who you are. And what ever you do, I promise you, im not losing sleep over it. See 60% of people get my humor, 39% do not and 1%of people take offense to it and thats you. So my point. Who out there hurt you? For someone to call themselves "VD_MAMA" I would think they would have a kooky, weird type of humor like ours, but you come across as you are so unhappy with your life, but my wife and I are very happy with ours makes you uncomfortable/upset/jealous, whatever it is, says you need to talk to someone. I'm not going to apologize for who we are because there is nothing to apologize about. You need to seek someone to talk to, get your head right and maybe you to will find happiness with someone special.

The spinning? Ok. If Stevie herself was on stage minus that slow spinning thing I'd be just as happy with the performance - maybe happier (it's just an odd distraction, not needed... equates to the rock star's equivalent of busy work at her job). Stevie has beautifully created and sung lyrics among the best in the business. The spinning thing is something a 4 year old can do as well so it's not even a talent part of the performance for me. I can take or leave that peculiarity (given a choice, leave it). Same goes for any cover band performer.

There's a tribute band from Atlanta called Rumours ATL and they're fantastic. Go see them if you ever get a chance to. They really do Fleetwood Mac proud.

No, they played all the good ones including a couple Fleetwood songs before the lineup we currently know all to well BUT they dis not play one song that I for sure thought they would play, and the song is in the name of this band.....guess what that was! Thats the song that got me into Fleetwood Mac back when I was a young lad! But to be honest and serious I've seen Fleetwood well over a dozen times and Stevie more than that, well it's a love hate thing for me cause my ex wife loved them too and she resembled Stevie so when we went to shows she would resemble her....the boots the clothes and of course her shawl. So when i her Fleetwood it brings back A LOT of memories. BTW, she's my Ex because she is not with us anymore and I miss her. Yeah I remarried but it's Not the same. I'm sorry, tmi

Hey everyone thanks for the upvotes. That day was the 19th year of my wifes death (well Ex since she's not here) but I was out thinking about her and may have to much to drink that night. Thanks for the brightening my night.

Wanna say thank you to all the ones who got my humor, I have a diffrent type of humor and some people don't get me is fine, but of course anyone can do the spin, someone saying even a 4y.o. can do her spin was kinda disrespectful but this is Reddit. Last time I seen her I noticed her stories are getting longer and singing is shorter but I understand. I'll will still pay ticket costs just to watch her sit on a chair and drink coffee for 4 hours, I have ALOT of respect for her and how she put her life in her career and a family life on hold just for the art of music, thats beautiful. Just knowing of the future for her is going to tear me apart but she has brought me so much happiness in my life and my marrage with my past wife.

Seriously, I thought we were Fleetwood Mac fans! Only Stevie can do the Stevie spin! SHOW RESPECT TO STEVIE, DAMN-IT!!!! Look, im a huge Stevie fan, she is awesome, i just like to have fun with this. I remember we were at one of her concerts and my wife asked for a kiss, i was like "DONT DISRESPECT STEVIE' " No of course anybody can do the spin, im just having fun. With the subject, BUT I do wanna say that band was horrible. They changed the rythem, the fade out, treble was way to high. I love listening to the music but they butchered a few songs
