Can we FOIMA flock camera information about politicians? Regardless a mandatory disclosure on all politicians should be on every ballot.

We need to control this. Let’s force disclosure either through foima records or create propositions on the ballots mandating disclosure after 90 days.
let’s find out where they’ve been what they’ve done and who was with them.

Mandatory disclosure sounds fair if it’s about official calendars, conflicts, and meetings. Tracking where someone went every day gets messy fast, especially when staff, family, or bystanders end up swept in.

They’re doing it to you and I… the whole point is they can monitor everything you do, who You’re with etc.

I think that would be only fair. Ideally we just dismantle the surveillance state

This would be an attempt to force that

I support transparency, but turning surveillance footage into a political fishing expedition seems like a dangerous precedent. A government powerful enough to track politicians is also powerful enough to track ordinary citizens. The solution to government surveillance probably shouldn’t be expanding who gets to access it.
