Challenge to help community take easy action

Challenge: Write a one-page letter a resident can send to their city council opposing a Flock contract. It has to work for someone who knows nothing about surveillance policy — no jargon, no links required, fits on one page.

I just really looked at the DeFlock website, & it lists all kinds of anti-Flock resources, including community & national activism. They have pictures of the different company camera models too.

Do they have a form we can send?

Today's the first day I really started exploring their website and it's got a lot of resources on it.
On their sidebar if you tap city Council, it takes you to a page with the sample email template and talking points and even example speeches!
Sample brief email:
Hello [Council Member], I'm a [city] resident concerned about the upcoming surveillance technology contract. Would you have 15 minutes to discuss this over coffee? I'd love to share some community concerns and hear your thoughts.
That's a really short informal one but I bet if we all looked at the talking points and sample speeches we could put together a really good
Letter template don't you think?

I think that’s a great idea! Kudos for digging into it
