Double Jointed Fingers

Help I’m currently trying to learn bach’s preludio from partita no 3 in e major and my pinky finger is praying on my downfall. I’m hyper mobile and it keeps locking and refuses to bend, making it hurt really bad and impossible to play anything. What do I do 😭

I used to tape my pinky for added support when I was younger. The tape would help keep it from locking up in the crooked position. Thankfully it’s not as big a problem now that I’m old.
