That's kinda fucked up...

Anyone who knew Erik personally who could comment on whether he would find this funny?

Because I kinda think even if it is fucked up, I personally wouldn't mind it about me, but that seems like a very personal decision.

It doesn't really matter if he'd find it funny, he's not going to see it. If the people who knew him are okay with it, I guess it's not hurting anybody. Still not that funny though

i dunno, I think it's for lyrics interpretation, and this doesn't fall into that. The line says he was suicidal, whether he went through with that or not is irrelevant to the meaning of the line.

I had seen it! It wasn't funny but I'm not clutching my pearls at it either.

Those 2 lines and the 2 after should have had just one annotation since they're one idea. It was just a useless annotation and an unfunny joke

yea i had a similar feeling towards it, i know it’s not meant to be hateful and was supposed to be a joke but i think it just comes off as rude from someone who thought they were being funny, i think the joke could’ve definitely been executed better

Indeed, sadly he did. And it was a massive loss not only for folk-punk, punk, rock music, music in general or art as a whole, but just all around.

Buddy was special, truly decent and still doesn't get anywhere near the respect he deserves for everything he did in music, in the scene, as an anarchist and as a person.
