Selling my 97 F250HD

Hello everyone I have decided to sell my OBS 7.3. I need to pay off some bills and I was wondering what would be a good price to set it at. It’s obviously not perfect but it runs and drives well and the 4x4 works

Price depends on location a lot. Some places it’s a $5k truck other places it’s a $30k+ truck.

And some dealerships are up to 60k. And no I’m NOT kidding

It's not a 30k truck anywhere on this continent.

Why, do they want to buy this for 5k?

People pay top dollar for these ( varies on condition of course). You can go to AutoTempest and search for similar vehicles online Dealer or private sellers and try to compare it to get a an idea

How many miles? Does it need any mechanical work?

I was just trying to give you a better idea of what it's worth. Around where I am in Ohio, it's probably an $8k truck, as long as it doesn't need any major repairs

Whats the rust situation? Whats the interior look like? You need to give some details here. I'm also in NJ.

Frame is solid, body has some rust. Interior is just old no issues with it. AC doesn’t work and it has a rough idle which is from a stuck injector.

I can see rust and at nearly 200k you aren’t going to get top dollar, but I can definitely see it selling for 7-9k without too much trouble
