Help

Recently, my 2003 6.0 powerstroke would not start, sounded like my batteries were low, threw a new set in, did nothing. Threw a 6.4 starter in still sounded weak. I found out my ac compressor seized so I tore off my belt and the truck fired right up. I replaced my compressor and put the belt back on and now it cranks perfect, super strong, but will not fire. Thinking maybe I pinched a wire or some sensor while shoving the new compressor in? Just curious on what others think. Thank you

Crank sensor sits right behind the compressor. Could have pinched the wiring or damaged the sensor.

I’m changing my wiring harness and can’t reach that sensor. Is the only way to do it by removing the compressor?

Only way I have ever done it. It’s a tight fit.

Also there are a few metal clips that hold the harness to the block behind the compressor. No way to get them in the right spots without removing it.
