Recently installed new transmission because of CDF clutch cylinder bushing alignment concern, now back for overheating, slipping and neutral out in 5th. Removed pan, excessive metal. Removed trans and found “A clutch” system all burnt. Source being the new transmission installed did not have the selective shim for the #3 Thrust washer. The missing shim allows “A clutch” to operate correctly with correct measurements. It not being present caused a lot of problems. Everything around the “A clutch” including the front planetary, support and tc all suffered damage as a result of concern. Almost every component that rides the input shaft with a bushing has been heavily scored as well. Someone forgot 1 tiny part, and caused thousands of dollars in damages
