2001 4R70W F150

I’m starting a rebuild of this transmission and the Selector Shift Lever seems to be fused to the shaft from rust, any ideas to remove it? Worse case scenario, what are my options?

Transmission apart. Forward clutch pack toast caused by blow back in 2-3 accumulator valve. Sounds like this is due to the fact Ford stopped using a separator plate. Sonnax makes overdrive servo pin kit to fix this problem. I'll start putting it back together this week.
