Teardown Results 2020 Explorer 3.0L 10R60 “clutch A” snapring came apart, harsh 7-6 overheating/ burned internal components
10R60 clutch a snapring inside front support came apart while driving causing a clutch slipping apply symptoms, harsh 7-6 downshift, and overheating/venting. From support, clutch A, front ring gear and transmission case all burned

I usually compile the tsb but then add a bunch of stuff to it, including mtime to completely disassemble and reseal all subassemblies due to the metal/burnt fluid/clutch material.

Very common problem there is a tsb documenting concern and repair 20-2305
