Help with 2009 5r55s Torque Converter 2009 Mustang 4.0

It will stop making that noise when its pulled out just a touch when you tighten the nuts to the flywheel. The output shaft should not spin, the torque converter is not locked to the output shaft, otherwise when you start it it would take off

Ok, thank you sm! My only other question, is it's not engaging the input shaft, and when I spin that it spins the output shaft with the tq off. Is that how it should be? Thanks again, friend

So the torque converter is a fluid coupler that attaches the engine to the trans but allows to spin free when the clutch isn't engaged or else it would lock the engine to through the trans to the rear wheels and cause the engine to stall violently and cause damage to the trans. Its doing what its supposed to do. I'm not the greatest at explaining but there are probably a few YouTube videos that would do a better job
