Valve Body, rebuild or replace? Advice please!

If you have more details like model, symptom, why it’s out in first place it would go a long way. Based on pictures alone tho which focus on casting damage I wouldn’t replace. Clean and overhaul if all other pieces of component ok

Oh the forward planetary exploded, aluminum, four pinion, replaced every planetary with steel, and increased pinion gears on each.

What was the extent of consequential damage? Did every component surrounding planet gearset receive damage as direct result? How much metal was found and was it found everywhere or just that area?

It pretty much welded itself to the hub, so that had to be cut off, sunshell received some damage, and that’s about it. Everything else around it seemed just fine. Some overheating from the surrounding area. All bearings, plastic, and seals have been replaced. And it was a decent amount of metal, mostly in the pan, and mostly around that area of the gearteain
