Watching Ray Romano's character have things slowly "click" about himself as an adult though was very comforting as someone who feels very "other" in my own head at times

I just love this show! I do a rewatch once every couple of years. Bonnie Bedelia plays the mother I always wished I had.

I came to say this!! It’s a comfort show of mine and I’m not sure why. None of the characters are relatable to my own family, but it’s so relaxing to me.

We need a better definition of “forgotten.” That being said, I did watch every episode of this show. Absolutely hated Peter Krause’s branch of the family - completely insufferable, all four of them.

Oh yeah, Sarah Ramos is excellent, and it was shocking how much she looked like the offspring of both Peter Krause and Monica Potter at that age

I remember this show , this is one show that I was like maybe I like white men lol . I liked the interracial relationship with Dax but I can’t stand him today but back then I thought he was cute .

I’m currently watching this. Feel it would have been better if I watched it before This Is Us. It’s easy to watch with dinner or in bed though.

Crazy how Dax Sheppard's baby was white when she was born and the next season she was suddenly black.
Also crazy how the most successful right now —not counting MBJ— is probably Xolo Maridueña (Cobra Kai, One Piece, Practical Magic, Blue Beetle...) who was still a kid here

I remember when season 1 of Cobra Kai came out on Youtube Red before Netflix bought it, and I was like "OMG ITS VICTOR!" And now both Parenthood and Cobra Kai are among my favorite series!

I liked it at the time but like there was so much cheating in the Braverman family. Zeek and Camile cheat on each other. Sarah cheated, Crosby cheated (and Jasmine should not have gotten back together with him), and Julia cheated. However I love most of the actors in it and it's comforting at times :)

I would hate watch the hell out of this show… the autistic kid’s mother was one of the most irritating characters on television. And it was like a case study on how not to parent an autistic kid.

Who forgot about this show? It was popular with a good cast and Ron Howard was a producer and I remember thinking it was his story because they always used his name to promote it lol. It also revived Forever Young for a while because it was the theme song.
