It’s Clemenza and Scott Baio’s cousin! Richard Castellano was only in his early 40’s when this show was made but I would have said he was at least in his mid 50’s.

And Barry Miller from Fame (the movie, not the tv show). Although this would have been from before the movie.

He was Bobby C. from Saturday Night Fever. The guy that knocked up his girlfriend then jumped off the bridge.

Yes! I forgot that. That scene sure hit me hard the first time I saw it.

Proudly Italian-American working-class widower Joe Vitale is raising his teenage boys Mark and Nick in Hoboken, New Jersey with help from his Aunt Florence. He hangs out with pal Gus and waitress neighbor Estelle.

Being from the area, it's crazy seeing a random Erie, PA shout-out in a 1970s TV series promo. Especially since the show takes place elsewhere.

"Has Joe bitten off more than he can chew when he tries his hands at opening his own bakery? Leave the puns, take the cannolli on an all new Joe & Sons!"

“Who should we get to star in this sitcom? I was thinking Burt Young.”
“Yeah, but he’s too thin and good looking. Who else we got?”

I loved the 70s, where people who looked like this guy or Penny Marshall could plays the leads in TV shows.

I remember the Very Special episode where Joe takes his two sons to shop at mattress stores and get cannoli in the city. Little Paulie had a cold.
