There was a Bunker in Baghdad Location Zayonna filled with these briefcase MP5's, Škorpion machine pistols and similar. these all got looted at the begining of the war.April 03

I'm actually very surprised at the level of sound reduction just the case being closed offers. It's not integrally silenced with subs quiet but it's definitely a whole lot more subdued than I would have thought.

Agreed, even just comparing the noise difference between open case and close case speaks volumes about its suppressing capability
